THE FOREST LODGE HOTEL WAS BUILT IN 1820 AS THE DOWER HOUSE OF NORTHERWOOD ESTATE AND WAS USED AS A HUNTING BOX BY KING GEORGE IV.
The meeting facilities comprise of the Forest Room which can take up to 100 delegates theatre style, the Red Admiral Room which takes up to 30 delegates and Cellar Bar which is ideal for syndicate work. The hotel offers a choice of daily and residential delegate packages and can arrange for all additional equipment and services necessary for the smooth running of your event.
The elegant Forest Restaurant offers excellent table d’hote and a la carte menus complemented by a varied wine list. Forest Lodge has 28 comfortable bedrooms, all of which have ensuite bath or shower, colour television, direct dial telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. For leisure the Forest Lodge offers an indoor heated leisure pool, sauna and fitness room.
