Moorhill House lies at the end of a half mile forest lane in the heart of the New Forest on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Burley making it a good location for your conference or business meetings, with great access to many different activities. The Hotel was built in 1861 as a gentleman’s country house and faces south overlooking the hotel’s splendid lawns.
The hotel offers a choice of daily and residential delegate packages and can arrange for all additional equipment and services necessary for the smooth running of your event. The hotel has two conference rooms the Vereley Room which can take up to 40 delegates and the Burley Room which can take up to 120 delegates. The location and the grounds of the hotel are also ideal for team building events. The hotel has 31 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, small indoor leisure pool, mini gym and a sauna.
The hotel's dining room, creates the perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy traditional English cuisine, prepared from the very best seasonal foods, for which Moorhill is renowned. To accompany the meals served, clients have the choice from a comprehensive cellar of quality wines available to suit most palates.
The intimate bar, is an ideal retreat to enjoy an aperitif and has a good selection of beers, spirits, and liquors. There is also a comfortable lounge enjoying panoramic views of the garden and the Forest.
