Ringwood, Hampshire
SITTING ON THE EDGE OF THE NEW FOREST IN THE HEART OF HAMPSHIRE, SOMERLEY, HOME OF THE SIXTH EARL NORMANTON AND HIS THREE CHILDREN, IS SITUATED IN 7,000 ACRES OF MEADOWS, WOODS AND ROLLING PARKLAND.
Designed by Samuel Wyatt in the mid-1700s, the house became the property of the Normanton family in 1825 and has remained in the same family throughout the years. Housing a magnificent art and porcelain collection, the house itself, albeit impressively splendid, still retains the warmth and character of a family home.
Although never open to the public, Somerley is available for corporate events and its location, along with its seclusion and privacy, provide the perfect environment for conferences and meetings, product launches, lunches and dinners, activity and team building days (the estate boasts a hugely challenging off-road driving course) and film and photographic work.
Somerley only ever hosts one event at a time so exclusivity in an outstanding setting is always guaranteed. From groups as small as eight to perhaps a large dinner for 120, the style of attention and personal service go hand in hand with the splendour of the house and the estate itself.
